MARKETING, SALES AND DISTRIBUTION

Our marketing activities relating to our products are conducted through Unionmet. We currently have two
personnels in our sales and marketing department and they are led by our CEO, Meng Limin.

In relation to indium ingots, for our markets in Japan, we focus on establishing contracts with reputable
traders in the industry as Japanese traditionally buy our products through these traders. In relation to the
Korean market, we sell to reputable traders and directly to major manufacturers in the consumer
electronics industry. In the European Union, we focus on sales to reputable traders. In the United States
of America, we deal directly with manufacturers in the consumer electronics industry.

Since the second half of 2004, in line with our business strategy of targeting global big-names as
customers, we have shifted our marketing efforts from spot contracts towards establishing term contracts
with the internationally reputable traders and manufacturers in the industry.

We do not adopt any specific sales and marketing strategies in relation to our other products.
We generally visit our customers each year for feedback on our products as part of our after-sales
service.

OUR MAJOR CUSTOMERS

The main markets for our products are Japan, Korea, Europe and the United States. Our main
customers comprise traders, consumer electronics manufacturers, ITO producers and the low melting
point alloy producers from the aforesaid countries. Most of our customers are repeat customers with
whom we have a good and steady working relationship, and we have both spot and term contracts with
